Taking a Cairo Pyramids and Egyptian Museum Tour from Sharm el Sheikh by airplane is a great way to see two of Egypt’s most popular attractions in one day. The tours typically start early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Sharm el Sheikh and a transfer to the airport. The flight to Cairo takes about 50 minutes.
Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by your guide and taken to the Egyptian Museum. The Egyptian Museum is home to a vast collection of Egyptian antiquities, including artifacts from the Predynastic Period (before 3100 BC) to the Greco-Roman Period (332 BC to 395 AD). Some of the highlights of the museum include the Tutankhamun collection, the mummies of the pharaohs, and the statues of the gods and goddesses.
After the museum, you will be taken to lunch at a local restaurant. Then, it’s on to the Giza Plateau to see the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. The Pyramids of Giza are the only remaining wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest pyramid in the world, and it is estimated that it took over 2 million blocks of stone to build. The Sphinx is a massive statue with the body of a lion and the head of a human.

After you have had your fill of pyramids and Sphinx, you will be transferred back to Cairo Airport for your flight back to Sharm el Sheikh. You will then be transferred back to your hotel.
